Meet Cristina Grecu

Cristina Grecu

Drawn to fashion with an instinctive eye for quality and beauty, Grecu sewed her first designs by hand. After buying her first sewing machine, she partnered with Romanian designer Andreea Borcea to begin creating dresses. Cristina was born in Romania but has lived in the United States since 2015. She has been creating bold, vivid designs for nearly a decade and now calls the Smoky Mountains home.

Notably, her designs have been featured in top-tier fashion publications including Vogue China, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Official, Artells, Glamour, Elle Slovenia, and Elle UK. Cristina Grecu’s designs are available at Flying Solo, a well-known boutique and retail space in SoHo, New York. View her online collection at Flying Solo here

Showcased on runways, at fashion shows, and media appearances, Grecu’s career skyrocketed after she attended New York Fashion Week in 2017. She successfully created 20 dresses in just one month to prepare for the famed event. Today, Cristina Grecu Showroom in Gatlinburg, Tennessee is the designer’s home base.

Cristina provides the region with an expansive showroom of evening dresses and bridal gowns. Dubbed the wedding capital of the South, Gatlinburg is the perfect location for her business. When you wear a Cristina Grecu design on your wedding day, you’re wearing a dress made right here in the Smoky Mountains!
